I was saddened to hear from Lee-Anne recently that Buddy adopted from us and fostered at #becsboarding🏘 had passed away. Lee-Anne wrote: My dear little Buddy’s eyes cleared up.
He developed vertigo and vestibular disease mid last year.
He still loved his belly rubs, sleeping in the sunshine and sniffing around the back yard.
Unfortunately we could no longer go for a walk as he began having seizures. After a vet check up it was found he had a brain tumor. We put him on medication for pain and he was doing well, didn’t like loud noises and would disappear under my bed. Still loved his cuddles and sleeping with me.
Early Jan we noticed he was having trouble eating and the vet confirmed the cancer had gone into his jaw, so with a breaking heart, Buddy crossed the rainbow bridge on Jan 9th, cuddled in my arms.
Thankyou for giving me the privilege of of caring and loving him.
It has been a hard few months as dear Mitzi crossed over in October.
We are missing our fur babies dearly. #hopespringseternal🐶 #buddy

This is a reminder that time doesn’t stand still. So much has changed since I put this together and quite a number of the featured dogs have now passed away. Watching it makes me happy and sad in equal measure - happy that we experienced it all and sad that it’s past. ... See MoreSee Less

https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=MjVPR2DQye4Recently we were surprised when Destination Happiness (a lifestyle television show on Channel 9) came out to visit and film a segment for Happy Pets at Hope Springs.
We were even more surprised when Petstock presented us with a cheque for $15,000 for our Pay it Paw-ward Program – helping us to “Keep pets and people together”.
We are very grateful for Pet-Stocks support of local communities and small charities making a direct difference to the wellbeing of their local community. Click here to see the segment.
